End of Abyss launches today on PS5, PC and Xbox
End of Abyss, from Section 9 Interactive and Epic Games Publishing, is available today on PS5 via PlayStation Store and on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
Section 9 Interactive AB developed End of Abyss and Epic Games Publishing released it today on the PlayStation Store for PS5. The title is also available on PC and Xbox Series X|S through their digital storefronts.
The PlayStation Store lists the game at $29.99. PlayStation Plus Premium members can try the full game for one hour. The PlayStation Store shows a Global Player Rating of 4.76 out of 5, and critics have given the title a Top Critic Average of 73 on OpenCritic.
Players take on the role of Cel, a young combat technician trapped in an underground compound. The game’s official description states, “In the depths of a mysterious underground compound, a mission to investigate disturbances of unknown origin spirals into a harrowing descent through a broken and abandoned world.”
Gameplay combines action-adventure and survival-horror elements. Players face hostile creatures and malfunctioning machines while exploring the facility, and must upgrade gear and adapt to environmental hazards to progress.
The game features a Scanner tool that reveals hidden areas and branching paths. Additional tools become available as players advance. Opening Pathways lets players return to earlier sections and access previously unreachable areas.
End of Abyss is available now on the PlayStation Store for PS5, and on PC and Xbox Series X|S via their respective digital stores.
