Enshrouded exits PC early access, launches on PS5 Oct 2026

Keen Games confirmed that Enshrouded will launch on PlayStation 5 in October 2026 and that the game will exit PC early access ahead of that console release. The studio also confirmed an Xbox Series X|S edition planned for spring 2027 but did not provide a specific date.

Enshrouded has been available in early access on PC since 2024. On Steam the game holds a “Very Positive” rating based on nearly 50,000 user reviews. Keen Games has not announced a PS5 price or published a PlayStation Store page for the title.

The game combines action role-playing, survival and crafting systems in a cooperative format. Players traverse a continent called Embervale to gather resources, build structures and halls, craft items and face bosses and environmental hazards.

An official overview reads: “You are Flameborn, the last ember of hope for a dying race. Venture into a vast world, vanquish punishing bosses, build grand halls, and forge your path in this co-op survival action RPG. Endure the corrupting fog that plagues the land to seek rare treasures and frightening creatures within it, and to reclaim your kingdom’s lost beauty and history.”

Enshrouded emphasizes cooperative play and base building alongside combat. The game’s fog mechanic ties into environmental threats and enemy behavior, and players can develop settlements and craft gear to progress.

Keen Games has used the PC early access period to refine systems and gather player feedback. Details such as pricing, pre-order availability, and whether cross-platform progression or cross-play will be supported have not been disclosed. The studio plans a staggered rollout with the full launch on PS5 in October 2026 followed by Xbox in spring 2027.
