Famitsu Gives Elliot: The Millennium Tales a 34/40
Famitsu has given Square Enix’s The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales a 34/40 from four reviewers (8/9/9/8) ahead of its June 18 Xbox release.
Japanese magazine Famitsu published the first review of Square Enix’s The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, awarding the game a combined score of 34 out of 40. The four reviewers gave individual scores of 8, 9, 9 and 8. The score appeared online before the game’s June 18 Xbox launch and a full English translation of the review text is not yet available.
Famitsu combines ratings from four reviewers to produce its total out of 40. The outlet’s verdict was posted before the wider critical embargo lifts, making it one of the earliest public assessments ahead of release.
The Adventures of Elliot is described by Square Enix as an action role-playing game with HD-2D visuals and action-adventure gameplay. The title was developed by teams that worked on Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default and is scheduled to launch on Xbox on June 18.
A free demo is available now on the Xbox Store, and progress in the demo will carry over to the full release. Pre-orders on the Xbox Store list the game at £54.99 and $59.99, and the product page lists it as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
Further English-language reviews and more detailed coverage are expected around the June 18 release date.
