Festive Gyarados in Pokémon Champions — redeem by May 31

Pokémon Champions is distributing a special Pokémon, Gyarados the Festive, via a mystery gift code. Players who redeem DRAG0NDANCEPTC26 in the game by May 31, 2026 will add the Gyarados to their party.

The giveaway was announced by The Pokémon Company at the Pokémon Trainers Cup during Pokémon Sports Day in South Korea. The code is active now and must be entered in the game before the deadline to receive the Pokémon.

The distributed Pokémon arrives with the Intimidate ability and a preset moveset of Waterfall, Earthquake, Ice Fang and Dragon Dance. The distribution is the first in this release to carry an official title attached to the Pokémon’s name, listed as Gyarados the Festive.

To claim the gift, open Pokémon Champions on Nintendo Switch, select the Submenu icon from the main menu, choose Mystery Gifts, and enter DRAG0NDANCEPTC26. The code must be redeemed by May 31, 2026; entries after that date will not be accepted.

If the game reports the code has already been redeemed or that the maximum number of inputs has been exceeded, return to the main menu and check the in-game Mailbox for a delivery notice. If no notice appears, restart the game and check the Mailbox again.

Pokémon Champions has used event codes and mystery gifts to connect in-game rewards to tournament and promotional events. This distribution is linked to a competitive event in South Korea and is available worldwide while the code remains active.
