Two day-one Game Pass titles: Fogpiercer and The Planet Crafter

Fogpiercer arrives on PC via Game Pass on July 17; The Planet Crafter reaches Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud on July 21.

Microsoft’s Game Pass will add two day-one titles in July 2026. Fogpiercer arrives on PC via Game Pass on July 17. The Planet Crafter becomes available on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Cloud through Game Pass on July 21.

Fogpiercer is a sci-fi roguelike deckbuilder launching on PC. Players assemble and upgrade a train and travel through a bandit-infested world. The game uses card-based mechanics, tactical placement, environmental interactions and chain reactions to handle encounters. Gameplay focuses on run-based progression, with choices about cards and upgrades shaping each attempt.

The Planet Crafter is a space survival, open-world terraforming and crafting game that first released on PC. It holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam based on more than 36,000 user reviews. On Game Pass the title will support single-player and online co-op for up to eight players. Players gather resources, build bases and assemble machines to heat the planet and generate an oxygen-rich atmosphere as they advance toward full terraforming.

Both games will be available to subscribers on their release dates without additional purchase. Fogpiercer is a new release joining Game Pass at launch on PC. The Planet Crafter’s Game Pass listing marks its first appearance on Xbox platforms and cloud services.

Earlier July additions to Game Pass include Winds of Arcana: Ruination. Subscribers will be able to download or stream each title according to its platform availability on the listed release dates.
