Fortress Merge arrives on PS5/PS4 with full trophy set
PlayStation Store added Fortress Merge to PS5 and PS4. The free merge-based RPG/strategy/tower-defense includes 24 trophies, including a Platinum that can be earned without buying add-ons.
PlayStation Store recently added Fortress Merge to both PS5 and PS4. The base game is free to download and the PlayStation pages list paid add-ons separately.
The console releases include a full set of 24 trophies, ending with a Platinum. The trophy list is identical on PS5 and PS4, and current reports indicate the Platinum can be unlocked without purchasing additional content.
Fortress Merge was developed by TapNation and published on PlayStation by QubicGames. The game blends merging mechanics with building, unit training and tower-defense elements. The PlayStation Store overview reads: “Your fortress is under attack! Choose and place buildings, merge matching ones to make them stronger, and prepare for waves of monsters. Build structures that train knights, horsemen, archers, and mages, while all kinds of turrets and barricades attack or slow down enemies as they approach. Adapt your setup to each threat and prepare for mighty bosses that can quickly break through a weak defense.”
Players place structures that produce units and use turrets and barricades to slow or damage incoming enemies. Levels require adjusting layouts to handle different enemy types and boss encounters.
Fortress Merge was released earlier on other platforms, including mobile, where it holds a 4.3 out of 5 star rating based on nearly 56,000 votes at the time of listing. The PlayStation pages are live now for download on both consoles.
