Forza Horizon 6 Early Access Live; Some Bought Premium Upgrade

Forza Horizon 6 entered early access on May 16. Playground Games is offering a Premium Upgrade that grants immediate access and includes two future expansions.

The Premium Upgrade became available with the early access window, giving paying players more than a day of play before the standard release. The package carries an additional cost and combines early access with two planned downloadable content packs.

Early reviews were published before early access began, allowing potential buyers to read critiques and impressions ahead of the early access period.

Players are choosing different paths: some purchased the Premium Upgrade to play during early access, others are waiting for the standard release or are playing the base game through Xbox Game Pass. Some purchasers cited the franchise’s track record as a reason to buy, while other players expressed hesitation about paid early access.

A previewer with developer access wrote, “The whole paid early access thing does make us feel a bit uneasy generally, but Forza Horizon is such a known quantity at this point that putting your faith in it – and those future DLCs – is a pretty safe bet.”
