Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2 Lead Xbox Releases May 11-15

More than 30 games are scheduled to release on Xbox between May 11 and May 15, headlined by the early-access Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition and Subnautica 2. Several titles will be available on Xbox Game Pass on their release dates.

Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition grants four days of early access beginning May 15 and includes a VIP membership, a Welcome Pack, a Time Attack Car Pack, a 30-car Car Pass delivered weekly, the Italian Passion Car Pack and two premium expansions planned after launch.

Subnautica 2, developed by Unknown Worlds, is an underwater survival adventure set on a new alien world. The game launches May 14 and supports single-player and four-player cooperative play. Subnautica 2 will be available on Xbox Game Pass on its release date.

Directive 8020 arrives May 12 as a cinematic sci-fi horror adventure from the team behind Until Dawn and The Quarry. The title pairs survival gameplay with branching narrative choices.

Several releases are joining Xbox Game Pass. Outbound launches May 11 and is available on Game Pass at release. On May 12, Black Jacket, Call of the Elder Gods and Elite Dangerous arrive on Xbox and join Game Pass. DOOM: The Dark Ages will be available for Xbox Game Pass Premium members on May 14.

The weekly slate includes a mix of large and smaller releases across genres. Racing and action entries include Forza Horizon 6 and NITRO GEN OMEGA, an open-world aerial combat game. Horror and narrative titles include Backrooms, Menace from the Deep: Complete Edition and Saccharine Echo. Strategy and puzzle releases such as Yomi 2 and Habitat Shapes: The Tropical Journey appear midweek, while platformers and action-adventure games including Journey of Johann: To The Sky, Slime Jumper and Bandits on West arrive across the week.

Indie developers have multiple releases scheduled. RoadOut combines twin-stick combat with driving mechanics, Underling Uprising offers beat-’em-up gameplay, and Solomon Snow: First Contact centers on defending a workplace and planet. Cozy and casual titles releasing during the window include Aery – Calm Horizon, Countryside Farm Clues and Summerhouse.

Release dates span the week: Outbound on May 11; a cluster of releases including Black Jacket, Call of the Elder Gods, Directive 8020 and NITRO GEN OMEGA on May 12; several strategy and puzzle titles on May 13; Subnautica 2 and other horror and action releases on May 14; and Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition and a final wave of indie and premium releases on May 15.
