Free Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse PS5 demo on PS Store
Konami released a free PS5 demo of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on the PlayStation Store; save data transfers to the full game and Premium users can cloud-stream it.
Konami released a free demo of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse for PS5 on the PlayStation Store. The demo is available to download without a PlayStation Plus subscription. PlayStation Plus Premium members can also stream the demo from the cloud.
Players who use the demo can carry their save data over to the retail release. Konami warns that some content, balance or features in the demo may change before the final game ships.
Belmont’s Curse is developed by Evil Empire and published by Konami. The game is set in Paris in 1499 and takes place after the events of Castlevania III and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. The story follows Trevor Belmont and his daughter Rose as they confront monsters emerging from a nearby castle. Trevor uses the series’ signature Vampire Killer whip while Rose becomes involved in a conspiracy beneath the city.
Konami scheduled the full release for October 15, 2026. The standard edition is available for pre-order at $29.99. A Midnight Edition is listed at $39.99. All pre-orders include an Alucard Style Costume as a bonus.
The Midnight Edition adds a digital soundtrack and an art gallery along with three in-game bonus items described by Konami as a Trevor Style Costume, a Sypha Style Costume and a relic called Family’s Grace.
Belmont’s Curse continues franchise elements such as whip-based combat and gothic horror themes in a historical setting. The demo gives players early access to the game’s mechanics and presentation and will allow Konami to collect feedback from PlayStation players before the October launch.
