Free High on Life 2 PS5 demo now available on PS Store
A free demo of High on Life 2 is available to all PS5 users on the PlayStation Store, offering the first two missions with save data transferable to the purchased full game.
Sony’s PlayStation Store on PS5 now hosts a free demo of High on Life 2 that is available to all PS5 owners. The demo covers the game’s first two missions and does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription. Save files created in the demo will carry over if the player purchases and loads the full game on the same PlayStation account.
High on Life 2 was developed by Squanch Games and released in February 2026. The full game is listed at $59.99 in the PlayStation Store and is not included in current PS Store promotions. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can cloud stream the demo instead of downloading it.
At launch, High on Life 2 received mixed reactions from critics and players. The demo lets players try the opening missions to evaluate the game’s combat, pacing and tone before buying the full title.
The demo includes a synopsis that outlines the setup: “You’ve taken down an intergalactic cartel, brought humanity back from the brink of extinction, and hunted dangerous bounties to the far corners of the galaxy. Bounty hunting has brought you fame and fortune, but when a mysterious figure from your past reappears and puts a price on your sister’s head, your cushy life gets thrown into chaos.”
