Freedom Wars Remastered 60% off on PlayStation Store

Freedom Wars Remastered is 60% off on the PlayStation Store through July 15, reduced to $15.99 from its regular $39.99 price for the cross-buy PS5 and PS4 version.

Freedom Wars Remastered is 60% off on the PlayStation Store through July 15, discounted to $15.99 from its usual $39.99. The offer covers the cross-buy release that provides the game for both PS5 and PS4.

The discount is part of Sony’s July Savings promotion. The title will return to its standard $39.99 price after July 15.

Released in 2025, the remaster updates the 2014 PS Vita action RPG with high-resolution textures, 4K resolution support on PS5, additional difficulty settings and a revamped weapon crafting system. The game preserves its action RPG structure and keeps the Thorn as a central weapon.

The story places players in a future where Earth’s resources are depleted and merely surviving is treated as a criminal condition. Players control a convict sentenced to one million years who volunteers for dangerous operations to shorten that sentence.

The original Freedom Wars was developed by Dimps for the PS Vita. Bandai Namco Entertainment published the remastered edition.

On the PlayStation Store the remaster holds a user rating of 4.25 out of 5 based on nearly 2,000 votes. A trailer and the purchase page are available on the PlayStation Store.
