Gears E-Day and Clockwork Revolution exclusive to Xbox and PC
Xbox confirmed Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be exclusive to Xbox consoles and PC, not timed exclusives, arriving October 2026 and in 2027.
Microsoft confirmed during the Xbox Games Showcase that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be exclusive to Xbox consoles and PC. Gears of War: E-Day is scheduled for October 2026 and Clockwork Revolution is set for 2027.
Xbox reiterated the platform plans on its official blog. Xbox Wire wrote: “As part of our focus on the return of XBOX, we also announced that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will be XBOX console exclusives. These are not timed exclusives. Games already announced for multiplatform releases will stick to that plan – we’re committed to investing in and growing XBOX both on console and beyond.”
Neither title will be available on PlayStation consoles at launch. Microsoft did not provide firm day-level release dates beyond the month and year already announced, and it did not supply additional platform-specific launch details.
The company confirmed games previously announced for multiple platforms will remain on those platforms under existing agreements. No further information on gameplay, pricing or potential future platform expansion was provided at the showcase.
