Gears of War: E-Day Listed as WWE Triplemania Sponsor

Jeremy Borash, vice president of content and development at WWE, posted a promotional image on social media that lists Gears of War: E-Day as a sponsor for Triplemania. The event is scheduled for Sept. 11–13, 2026.

The graphic names the game among event sponsors but does not state a release date or list platforms, pre-order options or edition details.

Microsoft will hold an Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, where the company is expected to provide official information about Gears of War: E-Day, including release timing and platform details.

A recent industry leak referenced a September release window for the game, adding to the timing noted on the Triplemania poster.

If the game follows that schedule it would join several other Xbox releases across a short period: Forza Horizon 6 is slated for release this month, reports indicate a Halo campaign title could arrive in July, and a new Fable entry is expected in fall 2026.

Gears of War is owned by Microsoft and has been developed in recent years by The Coalition. The E-Day subtitle has appeared in promotional materials ahead of the June showcase.

The Triplemania sponsorship creates a visible link between WWE’s event and the Gears brand, but official confirmation of a September launch remains pending from Microsoft or the game’s developer.
