Genshin Impact Adds Nintendo Account Login Option

The latest version of Genshin Impact added a Nintendo Account entry inside the game’s account login manager. The entry appears as an internal option in the app’s interface and was not presented as a marketed feature.

The entry indicates the game may support linking Nintendo Accounts. Nintendo platform users typically sign in with Nintendo Accounts, so such an option would be required for an official Nintendo build. The original Nintendo Switch’s hardware is widely viewed as underpowered to run Genshin Impact at native performance, and some observers have linked the login change to the possibility of a release aligned with more capable Nintendo hardware.

HoYoverse earlier indicated plans for a Switch version several years ago but has not provided recent confirmation for any current or future Nintendo hardware. The company has not commented on the appearance of the Nintendo Account option in the login manager.

There is no public timetable, feature list, or beta availability tied to the login-manager entry. At present the only confirmed element is the presence of the Nintendo Account option in the internal login interface; platform support, performance expectations, and release windows remain unconfirmed.
