Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition due Oct. 1, 2026 on PS5

Sucker Punch Productions announced Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition for PlayStation 5, setting the release for Oct. 1, 2026 and a price of $69.99. The package brings a narrative expansion, a new single-player survival mode, existing multiplayer, and additional in-game items. Players who own the base game can buy a Complete Edition Upgrade for $14.99.

The Echoes of Sekigahara expansion presents two timelines tied to protagonist Atsu. One timeline recreates moments from Atsu’s time at the historical Battle of Sekigahara prior to the events of the main game. The other follows a present-day storyline in which Atsu is visited by Nagato, a figure from his past. The expansion adds a new map, new enemy types, new weapons and dyes, and new trophies.

Most Wanted is a single-player combat survival mode built with a roguelike structure. Players will take on successive bounties, earn temporary perks between runs, and unlock additional playable characters through progression. Playable characters listed for the mode include Atsu, Oyuki and Nagato. Most Wanted will include its own trophy set.

The Complete Edition bundles the full Ghost of Yōtei game with the Ghost of Yōtei: Legends co-op mode, the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion and the Most Wanted mode. The package also gathers cosmetic and convenience items that have been released or are new to the edition, such as Snake Armor, a Digital Deluxe armor dye, a Digital Deluxe horse saddle, a mask, a sword kit, the Charm of Amaterasu, the Charm of Hokkyokusei, and Traveler’s Maps. Additional music tracks for Watanabe mode, new photo mode stamps, New Game+ cosmetics and new trophies for the two new modes are included.

Pre-orders open now. Players who pre-order the Complete Edition before Sept. 30, 2026 will receive an early unlock of the Sakai Armor on Oct. 1, 2026 and will gain immediate access to the base game and Legends co-op mode upon pre-order. The new expansion and Most Wanted mode will go live with the Complete Edition launch. The studio will provide a free mode called Beauty of Yōtei for existing players; the mode offers a screensaver-like view of Edo’s environments and will be added at no extra cost.

The announcement follows the earlier release of Ghost of Yōtei: Legends, which arrived roughly five months before the Complete Edition reveal. Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition will be available on PS5 on Oct. 1, 2026, and the standalone Complete Edition Upgrade for current owners is priced at $14.99.
