Gobliiins Collection Lands on PS5 with Five Classic Games
Gobliiins Collection launches on PS5, bundling the first five Gobliiins point-and-click games with bonus content and multiple language options.
Gobliiins Collection is available now on PlayStation 5, bringing the first five entries in the Gobliiins point-and-click adventure series to PlayStation for the first time. The release followed an announcement the previous night.
The compilation includes the original five Gobliiins titles, covering the series from its 1991 debut through later releases. The games retain the series’ puzzle-based inventory mechanics and humorous dialogue while being adapted for current console controls.
The first three games appear in multiple versions within the package. Playable language options are English, French, German and Spanish, with Italian supported in most entries except Gobliiins 5.
Bonus materials included with the collection consist of 3D models of the original PC game boxes and an exclusive video interview with Gobliiins co-creator Pierre Gilhodes.
Visually, the collection reflects the series’ evolution: early titles use pixel art and classic point-and-click presentation, and later entries feature updated artwork and different design approaches.
The franchise has primarily been available on PC until this PS5 release. The first three games are noted for their comedic stories and puzzle design. The fourth game, released in 2009 after a long gap, drew mixed reactions from players and critics. A more recent installment arrived a few years ago and showed further stylistic changes while maintaining puzzle-driven gameplay.
The PS5 edition adds quality-of-life features and modernized controls intended to streamline play on current hardware, and it packages legacy content alongside the supplementary materials described above.
