Gothic 1, The 7th Guest remakes headline PS5 releases

Two high-profile remakes arrive on PlayStation platforms during the week of June 1–7. The 7th Guest remake is due for PS5 on June 4, and Gothic 1 Remake will release for PS5 and PS4 on June 5. Both titles lead a modest slate of games scheduled that week.

The 7th Guest remake updates the 1993 horror puzzle-adventure for modern hardware. The release features rebuilt visuals and contemporary production values for PS5 while preserving the original title’s mystery-driven puzzle structure and narrative focus.

Gothic 1 Remake recreates the original open-world role-playing game environment, including a rebuilt Valley of the Mines. The remake emphasizes exploration and systems that make the game world react to player actions. The title will arrive on PS5 and PS4 on June 5.

Other PlayStation releases during the week include BrokenLore: FOLLOW on June 1 for PS5, described as a psychological first-person horror chapter; Hell Clock on June 2 for PS5, a roguelike action-RPG focused on loot-driven builds and repeated dungeon runs; and on June 4 the House Flipper Remastered Collection for PS5 with updated visuals and added content, River City Saga: Journey to the West on PS5, and Tour de France 2026 on PS5, a cycling simulation that models changing stage conditions and technical descents. On June 5 Hollowbody arrives for PS5, a survival-horror title set in a sealed exclusion zone.

PlayStation Plus Essential will add three games on June 2: Grounded Fully Yoked Edition for PS5 and PS4, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 for PS5 and PS4, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide for PS5.
