Gothic II Complete Classic Arrives on PS4 and PS5

Gothic II Complete Classic, including the Night of the Raven expansion and more than 100 quests, launched today on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS5.

Gothic II Complete Classic launched today on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The remastered edition, which includes the Night of the Raven expansion, is also available on Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X.

The release restores the full Gothic II experience on current and previous-generation consoles. The package contains more than 100 quests across varied environments, over 500 individual characters with daily routines, and more than 200 weapons and magical spells. Non-player characters feature unique dialogue and can be interacted with throughout the game world. Players can approach many quests in different ways, affecting how the story progresses.

The release includes an updated Russian localization. Localization errors were corrected, some character voice lines were re-recorded for clarity, and terminology for equipment, weapons and items was standardized and checked against the original list.

The game’s official synopsis reads: “You have torn down the magical barrier and freed the prisoners of the Valley of Mines. Now the former convicts roam the forests and mountains, causing trouble around the city of Khorinis. The town militia is stretched thin, and outside the city walls, travelers are largely defenseless against bandit attacks. Are you prepared to continue the story of the Nameless Hero?”

A re-release of the third entry, Gothic III Classic, is scheduled to launch on November 24, 2026. The current console packages combine the original game with the Night of the Raven expansion and updated localization.
