Gran Turismo World Series Debuts in Singapore Oct. 3
Round 3 of the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series will be held at Marina Bay Sands’ Sands Theatre on Oct. 3, 2026, the series’ first event in Southeast Asia and part of Grand Prix Season Singapore.
Round 3 of the 2026 Gran Turismo World Series will take place at the Sands Theatre inside Marina Bay Sands on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026. The event is the first time the series will visit Southeast Asia and is scheduled as one of the events in Grand Prix Season Singapore, which runs Oct. 2–11 ahead of the city’s Formula 1 race on Oct. 9–11. Organizers are partnering with the Singapore Tourism Board and tickets are available through official Gran Turismo channels.
The Sands Theatre will stage three headline competitions on the afternoon and evening of Oct. 3: the Manufacturers Cup, the Nations Cup and a support race called the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup. A single ticket covers entry to all three events.
An in-game Singapore Regional Time Trial Challenge in Gran Turismo 7 will take place in August. Players from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia are eligible to enter the Time Trial. The fastest competitor from each territory will be invited to join Singaporean qualifiers on stage for the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup. Terms and conditions for the Time Trial will be posted on Gran-Turismo.com in advance of the event.
The Oct. 3 round is the penultimate points-scoring event before the World Series moves to Tokyo for the World Finals in early December, making it the last opportunity for drivers to earn points toward the season standings.
Lilian Chee, director of sports at the Singapore Tourism Board, said the tournament reinforces Singapore’s position as a destination for world-class sporting and entertainment events and that the city looks forward to the energy Round 3 will bring during Grand Prix Season Singapore. Gran Turismo series producer Kazunori Yamauchi said he hopes fans from across the region will attend, and that the regional Time Trial could uncover talent and give drivers experience racing on stage in front of a live audience.
Organizers noted Singapore’s automotive, motorsport and gaming communities as reasons for staging the series’ Southeast Asia debut at Marina Bay Sands. Full event details, ticketing information and Time Trial terms will be posted on the official Gran Turismo World Series event pages ahead of August and in the run-up to October.
