Cygames will release Granblue Fantasy: Relink — Endless Ragnarok for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026. The expansion introduces new playable characters, additional story content, revised combat mechanics and a Conflux roguelike mode to the 2024 action role-playing game.

Relink originally launched in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and has sold more than two million copies. The expansion grew from three planned post-launch add-ons into a larger package after the title’s sales performance. Cygames estimates Endless Ragnarok is about 1.5 times the size of the original release and offers nearly double the playtime for players who complete both main and side content.

Endless Ragnarok extends the single-player campaign with new narrative threads and adds boss encounters designed around updated combat systems. The Conflux mode pits players against waves of enemies and presents two portal options after each stage that grant different risk-and-reward upgrades. Periodic boss stages appear in the Conflux loop and provide larger rewards for higher-difficulty encounters.

The Switch 2 build retains core systems such as Summon and Master Trait mechanics, Team Up attacks and large character transformations. Previews of the Switch 2 version show lighter on-screen prompts in early tutorials and an Assist Mode intended to reduce combat difficulty. The build also adds a knockdown recovery input (Hold Y to recover) and implements smaller secondary objectives in quests, such as time limits and limits on down states.

Cygames confirmed full crossplay support and Switch 2 wireless local co-op for Endless Ragnarok. The expansion increases the playable roster and adds modes intended for solo and cooperative play.

Technical testing during preview sessions indicated steady performance on Switch 2, with few noticeable frame-rate drops during busy combat scenes. The expansion preserves the game’s anime-influenced fantasy visual style. PlatinumGames was initially attached to the project before Cygames assumed full development.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink — Endless Ragnarok will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9, 2026, marking the first release of the title on a Nintendo platform.
