Domesticated Ant Games and publisher Dear Villagers announced Gravity Circuit 2 for Nintendo Switch, scheduled for release in 2027. The announcement included a reveal trailer and in-engine screenshots that display detailed pixel art and stage design.
The sequel adds a second playable character, Cable, who introduces long-range combat to the series. Players will be able to switch between Kai and Cable, changing combat options and approaches to levels.
The announcement describes new abilities and Booster Chips that modify movement and attacks and alter how players navigate stages and confront enemies.
The companies have not provided a firm release date, pricing or pre-order details, and have not published a full platform list beyond the Switch announcement.
Gravity Circuit originally launched on Nintendo Switch in 2023 and has accumulated more than 2,000 Steam reviews labeled Overwhelmingly Positive. To mark the sequel announcement, the developer has made the original game available for free on Steam through June 14; the promotion does not apply to the Nintendo eShop.
The developer and publisher said they will release further details, including a specific release date and any additional platforms, as production continues.
