GTA 6 PS5 preorders open on PlayStation Store

PlayStation Store opened preorders for Grand Theft Auto VI on PS5 on June 25 local time, beginning in New Zealand. Preorders are being unlocked at midnight local time in each region; Australia, Japan and the rest of Asia follow New Zealand, with remaining markets coming online thereafter. Boxed editions confirmed so far contain only a digital download code, and Rockstar has not confirmed a physical disc release.

Every preorder grants instant access to a one-month GTA+ subscription and the Vintage Vice City Pack, which includes a ’55 Vapid Stanier vehicle and the Shore Court Garage. Preorder bonuses add outfits and hairstyles for protagonists Jason and Lucia — a linen suit and period coif for Jason and a red sequin mini dress with curls for Lucia — and an exclusive tropical weapon pattern inspired by Vice City.

The standard digital edition for PS5 is priced at $80. The $100 Ultimate Edition expands content with additional vehicles including a ’95 Grotti Cheetah, a Dinka Enduro motorcycle, a Crest kayak, Jason’s Vapid Ganado low-riding pick-up, a Shitzu Squalo watercraft and a ’67 Vapid Dominator buggy. The Ultimate Edition provides access to the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay and a work-in-progress Classic Car Collection, plus a modkit and custom builds. Weapon additions listed for that edition include Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers and personalized sidearms for Jason and Lucia. Buyers receive exclusive outfits, tattoos and themed apparel and access to in-game shops such as mod shops, a tattoo parlor, a clothing store and a hair salon.

Players can begin preloading the game on November 12, 2026, one week before the global launch on November 19, 2026. Grand Theft Auto VI will include enhancements for PS5 Pro, though specific Pro features have not been detailed. The game is single-player and does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription.
