GTA 6 Trailer Shows Jason and Lucia Drawn Into Crime

Rockstar Games has released GTA 6’s launch trailer, showing Jason and Lucia robbing banks and fleeing police after an easy score goes wrong.

Rockstar Games has released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, showing Jason and Lucia involved in robberies, police chases and other crimes across Leonida, the game’s fictional state.

The trailer opens with Jason explaining that he was dishonorably discharged from the army. After Lucia calls him, the footage shows the pair carrying out criminal acts that draw them into a conspiracy extending across Leonida. The trailer confirms that Jason and Lucia are partners and the game’s two playable protagonists.

Scenes take place in Vice City and other parts of Leonida. Jason appears in military gear, while both characters are shown robbing banks, dealing with law enforcement and escaping dangerous situations. The story begins after a planned score goes wrong.

The trailer features “Flower in a Hurricane,” a song by electronic duo Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The song will appear on the official GTA VI album. Justice also composed music for the game.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on Nov. 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game is set to arrive more than 13 years after Grand Theft Auto V. It will include activities such as jet skiing and mini golf, along with podcasts players can hear while exploring.

Rockstar has announced a GTA VI Collector’s Edition that does not include the game. The company is also offering collectible merchandise and GTA-branded clothing ahead of the release.
