Hades II Hotfix 4 fixes abilities, AI and input bugs

Supergiant Games released Hotfix 4 for Hades II on PC, resolving ability issues with Medea and Hermes, Dire Auto-Seeker AI bugs and an input-queuing fault; consoles to follow.

Supergiant Games published Hotfix 4 for Hades II on PC through Steam as Post-Launch Patch 2 – Hotfix4, addressing several gameplay and UI issues reported after the previous update.

The patch fixes ability interactions that were behaving incorrectly. Suffering on Sight (Medea) no longer damages enemies that were already in new Locations. Tall Order (Hermes) will not grant its bonus when the required Element condition has not been met. The update also returns Artemis to her usual position instead of having her sing by the Crossroads Cauldron.

On enemy behavior, the update corrects a case where Dire Auto-Seekers could become immune to stun if their Armor was depleted while they were in a defensive mode. The patch removes an indicator that remained visible during Melinoë’s Return to Shadow sequence when facing.

Hotfix 4 addresses an input-queuing bug introduced in the prior hotfix that sometimes prevented command inputs from queuing as a player cleared an Encounter. Several other minor fixes and UI corrections are included in the build.

The studio posted the release note on the game’s Steam page: “We just released a Hotfix with a handful of additional fixes to our latest Hades II Post-Launch Patch! These fixes will be coming to console versions down the line. See you at the Crossroads!”

Supergiant did not provide a firm timetable for console deployment. The studio wrote that console updates typically follow PC releases after extra testing and platform certification and that it will share rollout details when they are available.

Hades II entered early access recently, and the developer has issued multiple post-launch updates, with Hotfix 3 arriving the previous week. PC players can download Hotfix 4 on Steam now.
