Halo: Campaign Evolved launches July 28, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5. Preorders are open; Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade buyers get early access from July 23.

Xbox announced Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch July 28, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5. The title will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass at launch, and preorders are open.

The project is a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved’s single-player campaign rebuilt for modern hardware. The release covers only the campaign; the original game’s multiplayer suite is not included.

Buyers of the Premium Edition or a Premium Upgrade receive early access beginning July 23. The full release for all players follows on July 28.

The remake offers high-definition visuals, updated controls and three additional missions. The campaign supports up to four-player online co-op and includes an expanded selection of weapons and vehicles along with new enemy types.

Xbox outlined Premium and Collector’s Editions and posted contents and pricing in preorder listings. The standard edition will be available digitally and physically on the announced platforms.
