Halo: Campaign Evolved PS5 Pro trailer confirms July 2026 launch
Xbox Game Studios released a PS5 Pro-captured trailer for Halo: Campaign Evolved, confirming a July 2026 release and three editions: Standard ($49.99), Premium ($69.99) and Collector’s ($199.99).
Xbox Game Studios released a trailer captured on PS5 Pro showing Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch in July 2026 and will be available in three editions: Standard, Premium and a Collector’s edition. The trailer identifies the game as Pro enhanced at launch and previews a new three-mission story arc called Operation: METEORITE.
The Standard edition is the base game and is priced at $49.99. The Premium edition is priced at $69.99 and includes five days of early access to the full game beginning July 23, an Alpha Halo Armory Pack, five Master Chief armor skins and six weapon skins, plus a digital Story & Art Collection.
The digital Story & Art Collection in the Premium edition contains a new short story titled Halo: Hungry Buzzards by Troy Denning, which leads into the Operation: METEORITE arc. The collection also includes a digital artbook called The Art of Halo: Campaign Evolved and a digital game manual inspired by the original 2001 Halo: Combat Evolved manual.
The Collector’s edition, priced at $199.99, bundles the Premium digital content and a set of physical items. Included are a 12-inch Dark Horse Master Chief statue, a light-up LED Cortana chip, a steelbook, three original concept art prints, a physical game manual and a game disc compatible with PS5 and Xbox consoles. The Collector’s edition is listed for preorder on HaloWaypoint.
The trailer uses PS5 Pro capture to illustrate higher-fidelity lighting and detail. Xbox Game Studios lists the title as Pro enhanced at launch, and the presence of a physical disc for both PlayStation and Xbox in the Collector’s edition indicates boxed versions will support those platforms.
Halo: Campaign Evolved will add the Operation: METEORITE three-mission arc to its campaign and tie that narrative into the Premium edition’s short story. The inclusion of a new short story by a franchise author and a manual modeled on the 2001 original are part of the digital and physical content packages offered with the higher-priced editions.
