The Halo: Combat Evolved PS5 Collector’s Edition sold out on the Xbox Game Studios Shop in fewer than 24 hours after pre-orders opened. Both the U.S. and European listings moved to out-of-stock status. Customers can sign up for restock notifications on the shop page, which states there is no guarantee of further availability.
The Collector’s Edition was priced at £189.99 in the UK (about $199.99). The boxed package includes a 12-inch Master Chief statue, the game on a physical disc plus a digital download voucher, an LED Cortana chip and five days of early access to the remake.
The release packages the remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign for current-generation consoles together with three newly created single-player missions. The full game is scheduled to launch on July 28, 2026.
Resale listings appeared within hours of the sellout. Sellers on auction and marketplace sites listed pre-order slots and boxed editions for prices reaching up to £516, more than double the original price.
The Xbox Game Studios Shop page listed the Collector’s Edition as a physical exclusive and described its contents and the early-access window. There has been no official announcement about additional production runs.
