Hell Let Loose: Vietnam delayed to Aug. 13, 2026

Release moved from June 18 to Aug. 13, 2026 after internal playtests and player feedback identified issues needing more development time.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will now launch on Aug. 13, 2026, after the development team postponed the previously scheduled June 18 release. Internal playtests and player feedback identified issues that developers say require additional development time before launch.

The delay affects the planned full release across PC and consoles. A free open beta for Steam PC players remains planned for later in the month; console players had been expected to wait for the full release. The developers did not provide a revised schedule for staggered platform rollouts beyond the new global launch date.

The expansion recreates locations from the Vietnam War and focuses on large-scale jungle combat. At launch it is set to include six large-scale maps with varied terrain and weather, 50-versus-50 battles that emphasize squad cooperation and strategy, historically based weapons and vehicles, new U.S. aerial units and opposing NVA forces using river networks and armed patrol boats.

In an update, developers wrote: “In addition to your feedback, we have also been carrying out intensive internal playtests for both the PC and Console versions of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam and we have identified several areas where additional development time will allow us to deliver a stronger launch experience. Therefore, after careful consideration, we have decided to delay launch to August 13th. This will ensure that Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launches at the quality level we expect and you deserve.”

Hell Let Loose began as a large-scale tactical shooter focused on historical battles. The Vietnam release shifts the series’ setting and, according to the developers, the extra time will be used to refine gameplay systems revealed during testing and to integrate player feedback before the full release.
