Hershey’s Kisses Debut 151 Poke Ball Foils With Team Rocket

Hershey’s Kisses and The Pokemon Company have released a limited-edition series of foil wrappers featuring 151 Poke Ball designs and 10 additional foils depicting Team Rocket. The collection marks Pokemon’s 30th anniversary and appears on select Hershey’s Kisses packaging as a time-limited promotion.

Hershey’s noted the set reproduces Poke Ball imagery across a wide range of designs and adds new art tied to Team Rocket, the franchise’s longtime antagonists. The company described the campaign as narrative-driven, portraying Team Rocket as attempting to steal each foil design. Hershey’s called the release its most collectible Pokemon drop to date.

Carly Andrews, Associate Brand Manager at The Hershey Company, described the collection as ‘Pokemon brings people together in ways few brands can – and that same joy of discovery lives in Hershey’s chocolate. With 151 Poke Ball foils and the addition of Team Rocket foils, this year’s collection delivers our most fun, collectible Pokemon release yet.’

Pokemon began in the mid-1990s and has grown into a global franchise that includes video games, an animated series, trading cards and merchandise. Team Rocket are recurring antagonists known for attempting to capture rare Pokemon and appearing across multiple franchise properties.

Hershey’s presented the release as a limited-time tie-in with The Pokemon Company aimed at collectors and fans seeking the different foil variations.
