Hot Wheels Infinite Rush moved to Sept. 10, 2026

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, developed by Milestone in partnership with Mattel, will arrive on Sept. 10, 2026, two weeks earlier than its previously announced Sept. 24 date. Milestone released a trailer and the first episode of a developer series called Beyond the Track to preview the game.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, ROG Xbox Ally/Ally X and PC. The Beyond the Track episode highlights free-roam activities players can pursue outside standard races, including Daredevil challenges, Delivery Stunts and Stuntman events intended to expand collections through exploration.

Milestone describes the game world as four distinct islands. Wheelswood is presented as a modern metropolis with long straightaways, tall buildings and narrow side streets. Tentacle Bay features beaches, parks, clear waters, a rocky area and an archaeological park. Gearville mixes desert and industrial zones with deep canyons, excavation sites and large factories. Drifty Temples offers a twilight setting with neon-lit streets, cherry trees, canals and ancient temples overseen by a large dragon figure.

The islands are linked by an in-game Launcher teleport system that allows players to move between islands at any time. The trailer emphasizes open areas and events where players can pursue objectives, locate stunt opportunities and complete timed or skill-based challenges across varied terrain.

Milestone presented the video and episode as an overview of the open areas and the collectible content tied to different activities. The studio did not disclose pricing or a post-launch content roadmap alongside the release-date change.

The Sept. 10 date makes the title available across current consoles, the upcoming Switch 2 and PC when it launches next year.
