How to Watch Xbox Games Showcase and Gears: E-Day Direct
Xbox Games Showcase starts June 7 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET/6 p.m. BST, followed immediately by Gears of War: E-Day Direct. Both will stream on Xbox channels including YouTube and Twitch.
Xbox will stream the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, June 7 at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern / 6 p.m. British Summer Time. The presentation will be followed immediately by Gears of War: E-Day Direct from The Coalition. Xbox announced the Showcase marks its 25th anniversary and will include world premieres, new gameplay and updates across multiple projects.
The broadcast schedule covers North America, Europe and parts of Asia and Oceania. Start times are 10 a.m. PDT, 1 p.m. EDT, 6 p.m. BST, 7 p.m. CEST, 2 a.m. JST and 3 a.m. AEST on June 8 for viewers in Japan and Australia. Gears of War: E-Day Direct begins right after the Xbox presentation ends.
The two programs will stream live on official Xbox channels. Viewers can watch on YouTube.com/xbox in 4K at 60fps, on Twitch via Twitch.tv/xbox and Twitch.tv/xboxASL, on Facebook.com/xbox and on Steam. The show will also run on regional Xbox and Bethesda channels and on Bilibili in China.
Live language support will be available on Xbox channels in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Mexican Spanish and Turkish. Additional language tracks, including Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Swedish, Thai and others, will be added after the broadcast. Viewers can select language tracks on their region’s Xbox page or by using the gear icon on the official Xbox YouTube channel.
Accessibility features include an English audio-described feed on the Xbox YouTube channel, American Sign Language coverage on Xbox’s YouTube channel and the /XBOXASL Twitch channel, and British Sign Language on the Xbox On YouTube channel.
Xbox will publish play-by-play blog posts and detailed announcements on Xbox Wire during the broadcast, with a full show recap posted after the event. Localized recaps will appear in several languages. The Official Xbox Podcast will run special episodes the week of June 9 that review and expand on Showcase announcements. Xbox is also hosting a FanFest event in Los Angeles timed with the Showcase.
Xbox encouraged co-streamers and creators to join but warned that it cannot guarantee protection from automated disruptions such as bot activity. Creators planning video-on-demand breakdowns were advised not to include audio containing copyrighted music to reduce the risk of automated takedowns and to review platform terms of service.
The Coalition will present Gears of War: E-Day Direct, focused on the next mainline entry in the Gears franchise.
