HoYoverse reveals Roscaelifer after gameplay leak

HoYoverse released an early reveal of Roscaelifer after a 10-minute gameplay demonstration for Zenless Zone Zero was briefly posted online and circulated ahead of the company’s planned Special Program on June 6.

The clip was published by a third-party website and spread quickly within the game’s community. In response, HoYoverse uploaded an official demonstration video to present the region directly to players prior to the full livestream.

Roscaelifer is shown as a floating city with design elements drawn from European cities such as London and Paris. The region is designated as the primary setting for the game’s v3.00 update and is expected to host major content for the coming year.

Footage highlights a tea shop and a bakery stall that will replace the current scratchcard and dice minigames. The demo also shows a new auto-chess style activity involving an entity named Bangboo, drone-related mechanics, and a high-speed rail sliding system similar to platforming seen in other action-adventure titles.

The video includes combat sequences for several incoming characters and presents a new boss encounter.

HoYoverse’s official video offers a polished presentation of Roscaelifer’s systems and confirms that the company will provide further details and timelines for the v3.00 update during the Special Program on June 6.
