Hunting Simulator 2 on PS Store for $7.99 through Sept. 24

Hunting Simulator 2 is $7.99 on the PlayStation Store through Sept. 24, an 80% discount on the standard edition; the price will return to $39.99 after the sale.

The PlayStation Store lists Hunting Simulator 2 at $7.99 through Sept. 24, an 80% discount off its regular $39.99 price. The offer applies only to the game’s standard edition and will revert to full price after the sale period ends.

Neopica developed the PS5 edition, which launched in March 2021 after an earlier release on PS4 in 2020. The discounted listing on the PlayStation Store identifies Bigben Interactive in association with the title. The store shows an average user rating of 3.38 out of 5 for the game.

Hunting Simulator 2 places players in large open environments modeled on North American and European hunting areas, including the Colorado plains, a Texan desert and several European forests. The game features 33 animal species with behavior patterns intended to mimic wildlife movement. Players can recruit a hunting dog in one of three breeds — Labrador Retriever, German Shorthaired Pointer or Beagle — each with different tracking attributes.

The title offers more than 160 weapons, accessories and clothing items. Several real-world brands are included among the gear, such as Browning, Winchester, Bushnell, Kryptek and Verney-Carron.

The PS5 edition targets 4K resolution at 60 frames per second and carries a T (Teen) rating.

A sequel, Hunting Simulator 3, is scheduled for release on Oct. 29, 2026 for PS5 and is listed at $49.99 on its official store page. Consumers have until Sept. 24 to purchase Hunting Simulator 2 at the reduced price.
