Indiana Jones Hotfix Fixes Switch 2 Crashes and Ragdolls
MachineGames released Update 8 Hotfix 1 on June 12, addressing two common Switch 2 crashes, ragdoll glitches on all platforms and a brief level-load stutter.
MachineGames rolled out Update 8 Hotfix 1 for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on June 12. The patch targets issues reported after the game’s Switch 2 release last month.
MachineGames posted on its official social account: “We’ve pushed a small hotfix today for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.” The studio listed fixes for two crash conditions that were affecting the Nintendo Switch 2 port.
Across all platforms the update adjusts the ragdoll system to stop enemies from rotating while being picked up and from snapping back to their feet after being knocked down. The hotfix also removes a small stutter that could occur when a level first loads, improving the initial gameplay transition.
The update went live the same day it was announced. Players who experienced the listed crashes, ragdoll issues or level-load stutter should see changes after applying the patch.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a narrative-driven action-adventure game with exploration, melee combat and puzzle elements. The Switch 2 port arrived earlier this month; Update 8 Hotfix 1 focuses on stabilizing that version and correcting animation and performance issues across consoles and PC.
