Indiana Jones on Switch 2 Adds Mouse, Gyro Aiming, Full Remap
MachineGames confirmed Switch 2’s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will support mouse and gyro aiming, include full controller remapping, and require a day-one update for Mouse Mode.
MachineGames confirmed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Nintendo Switch 2 will support both mouse and gyro aiming and will include full controller remapping. The studio said Mouse Mode requires a day-one update and that neither mouse nor gyro input can be used to perform the game’s whip action.
The announcement came during a Discord Q&A. Executive producer John Jennings reconfirmed that mouse and gyro controls are available for aiming and looking around, and wrote, “When combined with the full controller remapping options, you’re certain to find a way to play that you enjoy.”
Creative director Axel Torvenius discussed the design intent for the input options, noting the team focused on features that enhance the experience. He highlighted aim assist and how mouse or gyro input affects perception when aiming, and clarified those inputs are limited to looking and aiming rather than actions such as the whip.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for Switch 2 is scheduled to launch May 12 and is priced at £59.99 / $69.99. MachineGames and publisher Bethesda reported that early impressions of the Switch 2 port have been positive.
The Switch 2 port’s mouse support mirrors PC pointer controls, while gyro aiming will be available out of the box. Mouse Mode requires the day-one patch to function. Full controller remapping will allow players to reassign buttons and inputs to match their preferred setup.
Players interested in using Mouse Mode should plan to download the day-one update at launch. The developer has been addressing community questions on its social channels and confirmed these controls and customization options for the Switch 2 version.
