iRacing Arcade launches on PS5 with four-player split-screen

iRacing Arcade, a spin-off of iRacing, is available on the PlayStation Store for PS5 today, adding four-player local split-screen, four new cars and four tracks in new layouts.

iRacing Studios released iRacing Arcade on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 5 today. The title is co-developed and published by iRacing and Original Fire Games and follows a PC launch on Steam earlier this year.

The PS5 release introduces four-player local split-screen and adds four cars: Formula Fangio, Formula Turbo, Mercedes 190 E DTM and Big Rig. The update includes four tracks presented in five layouts: Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto in Spain, Circuit de Nevers – Magny-Cours in France, and three Italian layouts at Autodromo Nazionale Monza (Grand Prix and Historic) and Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The game’s roster now totals 18 cars and 14 tracks.

iRacing Arcade uses vehicles and circuits from the iRacing franchise in a stylized, third-person arcade presentation while retaining the series’ focus on realistic vehicle handling. The title is positioned for players who prefer shorter, more accessible sessions than traditional simulators.

The single-player career mode lets players build and manage a motorsport campus with custom garages, chassis shops, research and development buildings and other facilities. Online multiplayer supports up to 12 drivers, with custom lobbies and progress tracked on a global leaderboard.

Standard competitive content carries over from the franchise, including championship series such as FIA Formula 4, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTP class and the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

The PlayStation Store lists iRacing Arcade at $24.99 for PS5. The game is available now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the PS5 release includes the new content available on the PC version earlier this year.
