Get the Japanese Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams on PS Plus

PS Plus Premium subscribers can obtain the Japanese release of Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams by changing the system language on PS4 or PS5 consoles to Japanese. The title is included in the PS Plus Premium catalog in all regions and is also available to purchase separately from the PlayStation Store.

Players report the Japanese build becomes selectable only when a console’s system language is set to Japanese; there is no in-game option to switch regional releases. The Japanese version contains full English voice and text, allowing international players to use that build without a language barrier.

The Japanese release includes additional difficulty settings and adjusted combat balance. Players have noted changes to boss encounters that affect pacing and challenge. Some players report the Western release has uneven difficulty and lacks features present in the Japanese edition.
