Judgment PS5 on sale for $9.99 through Aug. 27

Judgment for PS5 is on sale for $9.99 on the PlayStation Store through Aug. 27, a 75% discount from its $39.99 list price.

The PS5 edition includes all previously released downloadable content and offers graphical upgrades to environments and character models. The PlayStation 4 version is a separate SKU priced at $7.49; the PS4 and PS5 editions do not support cross-buy.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can stream the PS5 edition via cloud streaming as part of their subscription.

The game follows Takayuki Yagami, a disgraced defense attorney who becomes a private detective in Kamurocho. Players gather evidence, track suspects and test findings in courtroom sequences woven into the action-adventure gameplay.

An official overview describes the tone: “Haunted by his past, he takes up arms as a private detective, clawing his way through Kamurocho’s underground crime network to investigate a string of grisly murders. In this psychological thriller, the balance between justice and mercy teeters on the edge.”

Judgment launched in 2021, published by Sega and developed by the team behind the Yakuza series. The title received positive reviews and award recognition at release.

The sale runs through Aug. 27 on the PlayStation Store, after which the game is expected to return to its regular price.
