Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] arrives on Oct. 8, 2026

Square Enix will release Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III]—bundling HD 1.5+2.5, HD 2.8 and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind-on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on Oct. 8, 2026.

Square Enix announced a single-package release of KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC with a street date of Oct. 8, 2026. The publisher revealed the collection during a Nintendo Direct presentation and described it as a native current-generation release that brings together the franchise’s HD remasters and cutscene compilations.

The package combines the contents of KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KINGDOM HEARTS III with the Re Mind DLC. From the 1.5+2.5 segment it includes KINGDOM HEARTS Final Mix, KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories, KINGDOM HEARTS II Final Mix, an HD cutscene compilation of KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days, KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep Final Mix and an HD cutscene compilation of KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded. The 2.8 portion adds KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance HD, the KINGDOM HEARTS χ Back Cover movie and KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep. The KINGDOM HEARTS III entry includes KINGDOM HEARTS III and the Re Mind DLC.

Square Enix lists the three component bundles as digital-only while offering KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] in both physical and digital formats. The individual digital editions for HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind will also be available separately.

Buyers on specific platforms will receive exclusive in-game keyblades. Nintendo Switch 2 customers who purchase the physical or digital Collection, or the digital KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind, will receive the Long Night keyblade. PlayStation 5 customers who purchase the physical or digital Collection, or the digital KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind, will receive the Midnight Blue keyblade. Xbox Series X|S customers who buy the digital Collection or the digital KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind will receive the Phantom Green keyblade.

KINGDOM HEARTS first released in 2002 on PlayStation 2 and has since been reissued across multiple remaster packages that collected mainline entries and story-focused cutscenes. The new Collection gathers those remasters and supplementary materials into a single release for current-generation consoles and PC with an Oct. 8, 2026 release date.
