Korean age rating points to Persona 4 Revival within a year
South Korea’s game age board logged a rating for Persona 4 Revival, suggesting the RPG remake could launch within the next 12 months.
South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee logged an age rating for Persona 4 Revival, a classification publishers typically request as a title nears public release.
Atlus confirmed Persona 4 Revival with a teaser trailer in June 2025 and stated “we’ll see more of the game this year.” The Korean rating appears alongside other recent submissions in the committee’s database.
Some retail and merchandise listings include dates consistent with an early-2027 launch. People familiar with studio schedules reported that a support team may be completing its portion of the project around the same period. None of these items constitute an official release date.
Age ratings are normally requested in late development when a publisher prepares for certification, localization and platform approval. Classification boards often receive submissions before physical manufacturing and marketing begin.
Atlus has not announced an exact release date. The company’s previous comment about providing more information this year aligns with the timing of major summer showcases, where publishers commonly release release windows and gameplay details.
Until Atlus issues a formal date, the Korean age rating, merchandise listings and studio schedule reports remain unconfirmed indicators of the remake’s possible launch timeframe.
