Leaked Art Points to CloverWorks Work on Persona 6

Leaked Persona 6 animation art circulating online and removed from some platforms reportedly shows CloverWorks-style color palettes and production markings.

Leaked images of Persona 6 animation art appeared online recently and were removed from some platforms, with takedown notices attributed to SEGA or a third party acting for the publisher.

The materials show character and scene art with color palettes, frame numbers and color keys similar to production sheets used by CloverWorks. Users who first posted the files reported they came from a Chinese animation production company that handles outsourced work for larger studios.

Copies of the images were removed from social platforms and file hosts shortly after they circulated. Neither SEGA nor Atlus has confirmed the provenance of the art or commented on the removals.

The markings on the images match elements used in early-stage animation assets rather than final in-game renders. Color guides and frame annotations are typically used by animation teams to keep shading and color consistent across frames and cuts.

CloverWorks worked on the Persona 5 anime adaptation. That prior credit is the point of comparison for people identifying the studio’s production style in the leaked materials.

Rapid takedowns have limited independent verification. The original uploader, the reason for the leak and whether the assets belong to in-game sequences or separate media remain unconfirmed.
