LEGO Batman Sells 1.2M in Launch Week; Xbox 25% Share

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight sold about 1.2 million copies in its first week, generating $83 million in gross revenue; Xbox platforms accounted for 25.1% of sales.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight sold about 1.2 million copies in its first main week, generating $83 million in gross revenue. The figures cover the game’s May 22 full launch and three days of paid early access beginning May 19.

Data from analytics firm Alinea Analytics show platform shares of 53.3% on PlayStation 5, 25.1% on Xbox platforms and 21.6% on Steam. Combined console sales accounted for more than 78% of unit sales.

Alinea noted the release came close to other major May launches, including Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light, and described the timing as not a major misstep.

The analytics firm observed that the title’s family-oriented positioning and the franchise’s history on consoles align with the console-heavy split.

Alinea pointed out that LEGO games often sustain sales over a longer period through continued engagement rather than relying solely on a large opening week.

The early-week sales and revenue figures provide an initial commercial benchmark as the title moves beyond launch into its regular sales cycle.
