Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launched on PlayStation 5 and is available now on the PlayStation Store. The game was developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Games.
The title departs from previous Lego entries by shifting away from puzzle-platforming toward combat and traversal mechanics similar to those used in modern Batman games. The design includes set pieces that recreate notable moments from Batman’s history and contains references to various film and television adaptations.
The campaign covers Bruce Wayne’s origin, beginning with his training with the League of Shadows and following his development into Batman. Players encounter allies such as Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl, and face villains including the Joker, the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy and Bane.
The Standard edition includes the base game and is priced at $69.99. The Deluxe edition costs $89.99 and bundles the base game with the Arkham Trilogy Pack, the Batman Beyond Pack, a Party Music Pack and a Mayhem Collection. The bundled items add additional costumes, music and content to the base game.
The PlayStation Store description outlines the campaign focus on Batman’s origins and the formation of a network of allies in Gotham City. Technical requirements and download details are listed on the PlayStation Store product page for the PS5 version.
TT Games and Warner Bros. Games released the title on the PlayStation Store for PS5. The publisher provided the pricing and list of included content for each edition at launch.
