LEGO Batman: Legacy lands on Switch 2 Sept. 18 with Joker DLC
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept. 18; the Mayhem Collection DLC adds The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters and a new story mission.
TT Games announced that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept. 18. The title was previously delayed.
The Mayhem Collection downloadable content will release the same day on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC for eligible Deluxe Edition owners. The DLC introduces a Mayhem Mode that lets players control The Joker and Harley Quinn, and it includes a new story mission and additional in-game items.
Nintendo Switch 2 Deluxe Edition owners will receive several pieces of content at launch. Physical Deluxe editions include a free LEGO Retro Video Game Batman minifigure while supplies last. Digital Deluxe content grants access to the Legacy Collection DLC, which adds new suits, vehicles and Batcave items inspired by the Batman: Arkham video games and the Batman Beyond television series, along with a party music pack.
The Mayhem Collection expands the main game with the playable villain characters and the Sinister Pack. The Sinister Pack contains seven new suits (one for each of the main game’s playable characters), five new Batcave items and a new Batmobile to use in the open world.
TT Games confirmed that Mayhem Mode and the new story mission will be available to Deluxe Edition owners at launch on Sept. 18. The publisher has not disclosed pricing for the Mayhem Collection or whether the DLC will be sold separately at launch for players who do not own the Deluxe Edition.
