LEGO’s Great Deku Tree Zelda Set Added to Last Chance List

LEGO added the Great Deku Tree set to its Last Chance to Buy page and says the set is scheduled to retire this year. The company has not given a firm retirement date. Some reports place the discontinuation in July.

The Great Deku Tree was the first official set released under LEGO’s partnership with Nintendo for The Legend of Zelda. Its listing on the Last Chance to Buy page indicates the set will leave the official catalogue once production ends. The listing is visible on LEGO’s online store, but no information has been released about remaining stock levels.

A separate Ocarina of Time–themed set titled The Final Battle is due to launch March 1. It is described as a 1,003-piece model priced at £100 and remains available at some retailers.

The LEGO Group has confirmed it is developing another The Legend of Zelda set expected to arrive in 2026.

The company also changed its policy on fan submissions related to The Legend of Zelda. LEGO will no longer accept Zelda ideas on the LEGO Ideas platform because of a licensing conflict. Before the change, eight fan-made Zelda concepts reached the 10,000-vote threshold on LEGO Ideas.

The Last Chance to Buy page lists sets scheduled for retirement from LEGO’s official catalogue. For buyers and collectors, retirement typically means a set is available only while current stock lasts. LEGO has not issued an official statement on production timelines for the Great Deku Tree or whether the set will be reissued.
