Lies of P Complete Edition heads to Switch 2 on Aug. 6

Lies of P: Complete Edition, including the Overture expansion, launches digitally on Nintendo Switch 2 on Aug. 6, with a physical edition on Oct. 2.

Neowiz and Round8 Studio will release Lies of P: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 on Aug. 6, with a physical boxed edition arriving on Oct. 2. The Complete Edition bundles the original 2023 game with the Overture expansion for a single purchase on Switch 2.

Round8 Studio developed the title and Neowiz publishes the Switch 2 release. A preview shown during a Nintendo Direct presentation indicated the port is targeting a 60 frames-per-second presentation on the new hardware.

In Lies of P players control Geppetto’s puppet in the city of Krat, facing hostile creatures and unreliable allies while progressing through combat and exploration. The Overture expansion adds an episode set in Krat’s final days of Belle Époque-era grandeur and supplies additional story content that follows the base game’s events.

The digital Complete Edition will be available on the Nintendo eShop for Switch 2 on Aug. 6. Physical copies, containing both the base game and the Overture expansion, are scheduled to ship on Oct. 2. The bundled release means the expansion is included without a separate purchase for buyers of the Complete Edition on Switch 2.

Lies of P first launched in 2023 as an action game with Soulslike combat elements and a dark retelling of the Pinocchio story. The Complete Edition brings those components together for the Switch 2 release.
