Luna Abyss, a May 2026 PS5 action game by Kwalee Labs, is on sale in PlayStation Store’s July Savings: $22.49 for PS Plus members, $23.99 for non-subscribers through July 16.

Luna Abyss, developed by Kwalee Labs, is part of the PlayStation Store’s July Savings promotion. PS Plus members of any tier can buy the PS5 edition for $22.49, a 25% reduction, while non-subscribers can purchase it for $23.99, a 20% reduction. The discounted prices run through July 16; after that date the title will return to a listed price of $29.99 until any future sale.

The game launched at the end of May 2026 and has a Metacritic average of 80/100 for the PS5 edition. The publisher describes Luna Abyss as a “story-driven action-adventure with fluid platforming and bullet hell combat.” The in-game synopsis states: “You are a prisoner sentenced to explore a derelict megastructure that sprawls deep beneath the surface of the mimic moon Luna. You are tasked with recovering forgotten technology from within the Abyss and the lost colony it consumed. Every move you make will be overseen by your artificial prison guard named Aylin.”

PlayStation Store notes confirm the game is available for PS5 and that PS Plus Premium subscribers can cloud stream Luna Abyss through the service. The sale appears as part of the retailer’s summer promotion running through July 16.

Coverage of the launch included reports that the game’s entire development team was laid off without public explanation. Kwalee Labs announced and published Luna Abyss; the company did not include details about the reported layoffs or its plans for ongoing support or updates in the sale notice.
