Mafia: The Omerta Collection half price for PS Plus

Sony’s PlayStation Store is selling Mafia: The Omerta Collection at a 50% launch discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The collection, released Aug. 14, is available for $49.99 through Aug. 28; its standard price is $99.99.

The package brings together four Definitive Editions from the Mafia series and their downloadable content. It includes Mafia: The Old Country Definitive Edition with the Man of Honor expansion and Deluxe content, Mafia: Definitive Edition with a native PS5 version, Mafia II: Definitive Edition with all DLC, and Mafia III: Definitive Edition with all DLC.

The PS5 version of Mafia: Definitive Edition features technical upgrades, including an option to run at 60 frames per second and other performance improvements for the console. The collection groups the remastered and rebuilt entries in the series into a single purchase aimed at players who want the full single-player campaigns and expansions.

PS4 owners can purchase the collection, but Mafia: The Old Country and its DLC cannot be played on PS4. Buyers who own the content on PS4 will gain access to the PS5 versions when they upgrade to a PlayStation 5 console.

The discounted price is available only to active PlayStation Plus members at checkout, and all PS Plus tiers qualify for the offer. The sale is a time-limited launch discount tied to the collection’s recent release and will end on Aug. 28, after which the bundle will return to full price.
