Mario Galaxy music from Mario Kart World lands on Nintendo Music
Nintendo added Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 tracks from Mario Kart World’s Free Roam to the Nintendo Music app for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers on iOS and Android.
Nintendo has added music from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 to the Nintendo Music app. The recordings are the tracks players hear in Mario Kart World’s Free Roam mode and were added in an update this week for iOS and Android.
The new uploads include the space-themed soundtrack recordings used while exploring Free Roam in Mario Kart World. Subscribers can stream the tracks through the mobile app while signed in to their Nintendo account.
Nintendo Music launched in October last year as a free app for Nintendo Switch Online members. Since launch, Nintendo has expanded the catalog with additional soundtracks, including a recent upload of 32 tracks from Mario Kart 64 that amount to about one hour of music.
Access to Nintendo Music requires an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The app is available for download from the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, and subscribers must sign in with a Nintendo account to stream the catalog. Nintendo did not announce any changes to pricing or subscription requirements with this update.
