Nintendo’s Q4 2026 update lists Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at 71.08 million on Switch and Mario Kart World at 14.70 million on Switch 2, updated through March 31, 2026.
Nintendo published its quarterly financial results for the three months ending March 31, 2026, with updated lifetime software sales for both the original Switch and Switch 2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains the top-selling title on the Switch with 71.08 million copies, while Mario Kart World leads Switch 2 at 14.70 million copies.
Other top-selling Switch titles in the update include Animal Crossing: New Horizons at 49.91 million, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at 37.76 million, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at 33.84 million, Super Mario Odyssey at 30.50 million, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet at 28.28 million, Pokémon Sword and Shield at 27.16 million, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at 22.56 million, Super Mario Party at 21.32 million and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe at 18.96 million.
On Switch 2, the updated top sellers are Mario Kart World at 14.70 million, Donkey Kong Bananza at 4.52 million, Pokémon Legends: Z-A at 3.94 million, Pokémon Pokopia at 2.41 million as of March 31, 2026, and Kirby Air Riders at 1.87 million. Early sales tracking from the launch window indicates Pokémon Pokopia exceeded four million units within its first five weeks; that higher total is expected to appear in future reports.
Nintendo said the ranking of its top Switch titles is unchanged from the prior report and noted that five Switch 2 exclusives have surpassed one million sales. The company provided the figures as part of its routine quarterly disclosure to update lifetime software totals for each platform.
No direct quotes were included with the published figures. The updated totals offer a point of reference for publishers, investors and players tracking lifetime demand for Nintendo franchises and the early commercial performance of Switch 2 software as additional titles are released.
